Trinity Stamps – Crafty Hugs Release Hop

Oh my goodness!!! I’m so excited to share some projects with you featuring products with the new release from Trinity Stamps called Crafty Hugs! It’s so much fun and there is definitely something in it for everyone!!!

My first project features the Make-a-Monster die set and the Monster Hugs die set. They are both so much fun to play with! They can be used individually to make a million and one creations. Seriously, the possibilities are endless!

Trinity Stamps Make-a-monster Sending Hugs die sets

For this fun card, I ink blended a panel and then die cut all my pieces from colored cardstock. I used my copics on the colored cardstock to add some shadows to my monster but not much. I love this guy! I could totally handle a squishy hug from him! Couldn’t you?

Next, I just had to play with my Zigs and watercolor this fabulous floral image from the new Love You Bunches stamp set. After coloring, I die cut the image and set to make my card. I splattered black acrylic paint on a white card base and then heat embossed my sentiment on the black banner. I popped all the layers up with foam tape and added some fun twine to the top. I’m not a floral person typically but I just love this large, bold, beautiful image!

My final card share for today features the Heart Burst stencil set, the Love and Stuff Sentiments and the Bold Love dies. These are some of my favorites from this release and I had so much fun putting them all together.

To create this card I inked up a panel with picked raspberry and worn lipstick, spritzed with water and then layered my stencil adding the same colors over the top. I love how it turned out! I cut the panel down, stamped my sentiment and popped it up with foam tape.

Next I die cut my letters from cardstock and craft foam and layered them all together. Then I glued them above the stenciled panel and finished this fun card off with some Boiled Sugar Jelly Hearts.

  2. Hi, Amanda. I enjoyed all your cards – they are fabulous! My eyes were drawn to the lovely Hello card. Maybe I’m looking for some color vs the snow scene outside my window in Chicago. LOL! Thanks for sharing your projects with us 🙂

  4. All of your cards are so bright and happy! My draw dropped when I saw the monster, and each one was just as wonderful! I really like how you ink blended up the panels. The water spots on the love card are amazing! My favorite has to be the floral card though-all those colors set against the black background really make them pop. Thanks for participating!
