Clearly Besotted – Christmas Line Up

Happy Friday everyone!!! I’m popping in today with a couple of sweet and simple cards I made with my last purchase from Clearly Besotted. I just love these images and had a blast putting these two cards together.

Both of these images come in the Christmas Line Up set and there was no way I was choosing which to use first so I inked them both up and started coloring with my copics. Then I used the scan-n-cut to cut them out and moved on to backgrounds.

For my polar bear card, I masked off the center portion of a panel and inked it up using my blending brushes and some dye inks. Then I stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments above the inked area and popped the image up with foam squares. The panel was trimmed to 4×5.25 and popped up with foam tape on a white card base.

For finishing touches on these cuties, I added glossy accents to the tree base and gift bow. Then I went through with a black glaze pen and added shine to the polar bear eyes and noses.

For my reindeer card, I masked off the top portion of a panel and inked it up dark blue. Then I spritzed it with the Avery Elle white ink spray and let that dry. I trimmed the panel down to 4×5.25 again and stamped my sentiment from Picture It Christmas below the inked portion. I popped the panel up with foam tape and also popped the images up with foam squares again.

For finishing touches on this card, I added glossy accents to the reindeer and snowman noses, with the exception of Rudolph, who I added some Christmas Red Stickles to instead. I also went over these images adding black glaze pen to the eyes and snowman buttons too.

These images were super fun to color and would be great for mass producing if you need a card design for the holidays.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Clearly Besotted – Snow Day

Hello again! I’m having fun making Christmas cards lately and wanted to share this fun shaker with you featuring the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collab with Clearly Besotted.

I had so much fun stamping and coloring these images out! I used the coordinating dies to cut the critters out. Then I used my Newton’s Nook circle frames to create my shaker mechanism and frame.

I filled my shaker with some foam snow balls I’ve been hoarding from the Dollar Tree and some Pixie Dust micro beads in Silvermist from my Etsy shop. Once the shaker was created, I adhered it to a kraft card base and used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment.

I adhered the critters and snowballs with liquid glue and moved on to finishing touches. I added unicorn Stickles to the snowballs for a little glittery shine and some Frosty Flakes embellishments scattered across the card front.

Such a silly, fun card. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to play some more with this set.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – National Iced Tea Day

Hello everyone! Today is National Iced Tea Day and we’re celebrating with a fun inspiration hop and a giveaway with the Coffee Loving Cardmaker’s team today! Be sure to head over and check out the fun HERE! More details at the bottom too so keep scrolling!

Here’s the fun card that I made! I combined a few awesome Super Sponsors together to make this fun cup of iced tea. I took the cup from Paper Smooches Caffeinated and added the glasses from the set. Then I switched over to Trinity Stamps Coffee with Character for the ice cubes and lemon wedge. I stamped and colored everything and then used my scan-n-cut to cut it out.

Next, I took a white cardbase and a couple of Trinity Stamps stencils – foundations circles and catching some rays – with a variety of yellow inks and my blending buddy brushes! I used the medium yellow ink and stamped the lemon wedge from Coffee With Character across the card front from top left to bottom right. I chose a sentiment from Clearly Besotted Spilling Tea and stamped it in black on the bottom right corner and attached my images with foam squares.

Last, I added some fun finishing touches like glossy accents to the cup glasses and lemon wedge and Wink of Stella glitter brush pen to the ice cubes. I also decided on a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in dandelion yellow mixed in with the lemon wedges in the background.

Such a happy, fun card and also a fun farewell to Paper Smooches who just announced the retirement of the shop. You might want to head over there and pick up your wishlist goodies while supplies last. She’s having a sale until everything is sold out.

And just a reminder to head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog to find the complete list of links to hop along. Clearly Besotted – Picture Perfect

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to share today’s card with you! It’s bright and happy, which I thought was perfect for the beginning of June. A new month, closer to summer and all things sunshine and happy!

Last week I shared a couple of cards featuring Clearly Besotted stamps and stencil, a new-to-me company. Today I’m back with another stamp set I snagged at the same time as those. It was too cute to resist.

To create this card, I started by stamping images from Picture Perfect, colored them with my copics and used my scan-n-cut to cut them out. Then I pulled out that awesome Stamp On It stencil and inked a white 3.5×3.5 square using it. I started with a melon colored ink in the center and then a yellow on the edges, blending them together in the middle. I love how this turned out!!!!

Using my images as a guide on the inked panel, I stamped a few sentiments from the set in one of the stenciled squares.

Next, I moved on to assembly and decided that the melon cardstock I chose for my background was too plain. I pulled out the smaller, secondary images from the stamp set and created my own tone-on-tone patterned paper for a little extra interest.

After that was fixed, I adhered the melon cardstock to a white cardbase and popped up the inked square with foam tape. Then I popped up my images with foam squares and moved on to finishing touches.

For those, I added glossy accents to the camera and Stickles to the smaller images for a little sparkle.

This set has so much potential and I’ve got so many ideas for it! I can’t wait to keep creating! I think a bunch of photos taped to a wall or hung on a line will be so much fun!

Clearly Besotted Take 2 – CLC Spring Summer Hop

Okay, I couldn’t resist. I’m back with another Clearly Besotted card featuring literally the exact same products. I just couldn’t stop. They are sooooo cute!!! I mean, can you really blame me?

For this card, I used a different portion of the stencil and inked it up with a blend of blue and green inks. I stamped and colored my images, using my scan-n-cut again to cut them out. I stamped my sentiment under the inked rectangles on the right side and assembled everything. The images are popped up with foam squares and the panel is popped up on a card base with foam tape.

I did add some white gel pen accents to these cuties but overall I kept this card fairly simple. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to color more of these guys up right away!!!

I’m linking this beauty up to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop HERE too!

I appreciate you stopping by again today. Have a fabulous day!

Clearly Besotted – CLC Spring-Summer Hop

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I’m sharing a really fun card from a new-to-me company, Clearly Besotted. Their artwork is beyond adorable and I’ve been admiring it for a bit. Then with their last release came this adorable set called Spilling Tea and I didn’t even hesitate to order it the second it was available! I love it!

Along with my stamps, I snagged this fun stencil called Stamp On It. It’s got the same postage stamp looking squares and rectangles in 3 different ways on the same stencil. I thought it was absolutely genius!

To make this fun card I started by stamping and coloring my images. Then I used my scan-n-cut to cut them out. I inked a column of squares from my new stencil on the right side of a 3.75×5.25 inch panel. Then, using my images as a guide I stamped my sentiment and then adhered the images with foam squares. I wrapped some twine around the left side and added foam tape to the back of this panel. I used my new diagonal stripe stencil from Trinity Stamps on the right edge of a white card base and then adhered my panel to it.

I really just want to squish these little critters. They’re beyond adorable and extra fun with their cups of tea!

I’m linking this fun card up to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop HERE. Don’t forget to play along too! There are so many fun prizes to be won from over 70 amazing companies!
