Thermoweb | Unity Instagram Hop

Hello everyone! I’m back today with more Thermoweb | Unity fun to share with you! We’re having an Instagram hop today starting at 10 a.m. So much fun! Here’s a peek at the cards I’ll be sharing but remember you have to comment on Instagram and hop for chances to win.

Today, I used the wild garden toner card front with the summer rainbow decofoil. Then I decided to try that awesome technique from yesterday but instead of leaving the negative space black, I added turquoise sea decofoil and ran the same card through again. Which gave me that awesome card front on the right.

I was so in love with the look of this card front that I didn’t want to cover it up. I die cut a sentiment from Unity Stamps Be the Girl set with the Trinity Stamps embossed edge circle stack. Then the next size up from black cardstock and adhered them together. I popped them up with foam squares and added a few Falling For You enamel dots from Pink & Main. Then I adhered this to a white card base and wrapped some baker’s twine for a little added interest.

Let’s have a look at the bonus card I created with today’s toner card front, shall we?!? I just love it!

I added the toner sheet to a white card base. Then die cut the image from Unity Stamps Let the Little Things Gnome with a Trinity Stamps embossed edge rectangle and colored it with my copic markers. I also die cut one of the sentiments from the same stamp set with a Pink & Main Large Sentiment Strip die. I popped the rectangle up on the foiled card front, then popped the banner up on that. I finished things off with a scattering of Falling For You enamel dots again.

So much bright and happy! I just love them both! I hope you’ll head over in a bit and join us on Instagram for the hop. There will be lots of inspiration and prizes to win!

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Thermoweb – Unity Toner Card Front Release

Hey friends! I’m over on the Thermoweb blog today featuring one of the new Unity Toner Card Front designs. These are beautiful and are so fun to create with already!

I did a two-for-one technique by foiling the card front and then using the negative on a toner sheet to create the darker card front. I love how it turned out!

I paired the tranquil leaves card front with spring coffee stamps to create both cards. The backgrounds feature emerald watercolor decofoil and this first cup is foiled with wild lilac because it was a digital stamp. I love that you can copic color over foiling. It’s so cool!

Here’s a look a the card front close up and in the light. Isn’t is so pretty!?! I am having so much fun playing with foils and different techniques. I definitely recommend it.

And here is the second card I created with that negative sheet. Isn’t it awesome!?! The fact that there was no foil waste and getting two cards done at the same time were huge bonuses!

Here’s a close up of this one too. I used turquoise sea for the accents on this card and the wild lilac for the cup badge.

Be sure to head over to the Thermoweb blog for the step-by-step process how I created both of these cards.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
