Trinity Stamps – Happy Birthday Release Sneak Peek

I have a couple of really fun cards to share with you sneak peeking a few more products that will be available from Trinity Stamps in just a few days. It’s Trinity Stamps’ birthday so there are some fun birthday themed products and I couldn’t resist making a couple of birthday cards. I chose a color scheme, started playing and ended up with more than one fun card for today.

Aren’t they just so fun?!? I used lots of products to give them each different texture and look. Let’s start with the one on the left.

I inked up those awesome balloons with a new stencil coming and then did some foiling and glitter glitz gel with another confetti stencil coming too! How about those awesome die cut words with the shadow behind them. I love it when word dies come with both! It’s so useful!

Then for this card…there’s that confetti stencil again and those die cut balloons are so cool! I die cut an extra from vellum to tone down the cardstock colors I was using. I love this soft look. Then I finished it off with a simple sentiment and topped it with Wink of Stella glitter brush pen so it’s a little sparkly.

Today is the start of the release celebration for Trinity Stamps. There are 3 separate Instagram hops going on today, tomorrow and Friday! Head over to the Trinity Instagram page and start there. You’ll see peeks of different product each day and there are prizes to win each day too! Then on Friday there will be fun and games going on over at the Facebook group page too.

Thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate you sharing your time. Now go hop along!!!

Trinity Stamps – Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! This is the week of the newest Trinity Stamps Birthday Release! Trinity Stamps just turned 2 years old and we’re celebrating with a fun release, games and lots of giveaways. Be sure you’re following on Facebook and Instagram and are also part of the Trinity Stamps – Imagination, Inspiration and Conversation group on Facebook too! The Facebook group is where all the fun will take place!

Today I have a little sneak peek for you of a couple products to look forward to on Friday when everything gets released!

I love making shaped cards so I took this new die and paired it with a new stamp that’s coming to create a fun balloon card fit for anything you want to celebrate! It’s so great!

I die cut the balloon and stamped my image. I colored it with copics and then used my blending buddy brush to add some light blue ink to the outer part of the balloon. I added some stars and part of my sentiment is die cut for a little texture too.

To finish things off I added glossy accents to all the little stars and Wink of Stella glitter brush pen to the stamped words. I tied a little baker’s twine to the bottom and glued it to a shaped cardbase I had created with the same die.

This is seriously the tippy tip top of the iceberg for this release. It’s amazing and incredible! I hope you’ll join us for the celebration! OH! We’re also have 3 separate Instagram hops – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for chances to win and reveals of product each day! Don’t forget to join in!!!

Trinity Stamps – You’re Totally Amazing

I want to start off with a big Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there. I’m so lucky to have an incredible dad and my daughter is super lucky to have one too! These men have supported me through thick and thin and I appreciate them more than words!

That brings me to my card share today. This is the card I made my husband for Father’s Day.

To make this card I started with stamping and coloring my image from Trinity Stamps’ Totally Amazing. I used the coordinating dies to cut it out and found some coordinating cardstock to the markers I used.

I trimmed the cardstock down into thin strips and adhered them to a base. After I filled it up, I trimmed the edges down to 4×5.25. This panel is popped up on a white card base with foam tape.

Then I die cut a stitched circle from iridescent vellum and glued my image to it. Next, I glued it to the card front. I did it in this order so I could hide the glue behind the stamped image.

I still thought it needed a little something so I pulled out Trinity Stamps’ So Appreciative and used the banner die with a small sentiment. I colored it with copics, glued it together and then to the card front.

Since this is a masculine card I held off on the glitter but I want you all to know it was painful and against my better judgement. Lol.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Cool Beans

Hello everyone! I’m up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with this awesome and crazy cool beans birthday card. I was chatting with a crafty friend this weekend and she dared me to go wild and crazy with the Trinity Stamps coffee bean stencil. So I totally accepted and this is what I came up with.

To make this fun card, I started with the background by using Thermoweb transfer gel on the first layer of the Trinity Stamps coffee bean stencil. I let it dry overnight and came back with rainbow shattered glass deco foil. Then I lined up the second layer of the stencil and used black glitz glitter gel on the other half. I just love how this turned out!

Here’s a closer look at the top half of the colors. This is where I pulled the yellow from for one of my coffee cups from the Avery Elle cool beans stamp set.

And then here’s the bottom half where I pulled the blue from for my other coffee cup. I colored those, stamped my sentiments on the sleeves and the clear heat embossed over them. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and moved on to assembly.

I started with a white cardbase, trimmed a black panel to 4 1/8×5 3/8 and glued it down. Then I trimmed the stenciled panel down to 4×5 1/4 and glued it down too. The coffee cups are popped up with foam squares.

It’s a crazy, fun card and I have plenty of crazy, fun friends who would get a kick out of this wild card.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Trinity Stamps – Far Out Birthday

Welcome! Have you heard of the Crafty Troop Challenge? It’s a theme challenge held each month over on the Trinity Stamps blog. This month the theme is birthday! All you have to do to play is create a card using Trinity Stamps products (even just one) that fits the theme and upload it using the InLinkz widget at the bottom of THIS POST. You have a chance to win a Trinity Stamps gift certificate! Today I’m over on the Trinity Stamps blog with this far out birthday card inspiration featuring some fun products that I am using for the first time!

I had a general idea of what I wanted to create so I jumped right into my background. I blended peacock feathers, mustard seed and picked raspberry distress inks on a 4×5.25 panel and then went over the whole thing with black soot. I spritzed it with water and then splattered silver and gold watercolor for extra stars. After that dried I ran it through my die cut machine with the starry skies coverplate. This die only gives the stitching detail which is so much fun!

Next I pulled out my make-a-spaceship dies and had a blast cutting out and building my own spaceship! I used vellum for the largest spaceship die and then various colors for the rest. My favorite are the shiny gold accents. Because my spaceship has a see-through window, I decided to put one of the Monster Love monsters inside for fun! I popped this up on my starry sky with foam squares and moved on to a sentiment.

I chose a sentiment from Otter Space – heat embossed it and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I love that about this set – the words have dies too! Then I used liquid glue to attach them to my sky too!

Finally I popped the whole panel up on a black card base with foam tape and my card is finished. I had so much fun creating this card with so many different techniques!

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – National Iced Tea Day

Hello everyone! Today is National Iced Tea Day and we’re celebrating with a fun inspiration hop and a giveaway with the Coffee Loving Cardmaker’s team today! Be sure to head over and check out the fun HERE! More details at the bottom too so keep scrolling!

Here’s the fun card that I made! I combined a few awesome Super Sponsors together to make this fun cup of iced tea. I took the cup from Paper Smooches Caffeinated and added the glasses from the set. Then I switched over to Trinity Stamps Coffee with Character for the ice cubes and lemon wedge. I stamped and colored everything and then used my scan-n-cut to cut it out.

Next, I took a white cardbase and a couple of Trinity Stamps stencils – foundations circles and catching some rays – with a variety of yellow inks and my blending buddy brushes! I used the medium yellow ink and stamped the lemon wedge from Coffee With Character across the card front from top left to bottom right. I chose a sentiment from Clearly Besotted Spilling Tea and stamped it in black on the bottom right corner and attached my images with foam squares.

Last, I added some fun finishing touches like glossy accents to the cup glasses and lemon wedge and Wink of Stella glitter brush pen to the ice cubes. I also decided on a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in dandelion yellow mixed in with the lemon wedges in the background.

Such a happy, fun card and also a fun farewell to Paper Smooches who just announced the retirement of the shop. You might want to head over there and pick up your wishlist goodies while supplies last. She’s having a sale until everything is sold out.

Trinity Stamps – Thanks a Latte

Hello again. Today I’m up on the Trinity Stamps blog with this fun coffee themed thank you card to keep with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Spring-Summer Hop theme.

To make this card, I started by pulling out the awesome layered coffee bean stencil and using two different colored metallix gels – aged copper and champagne mist. I left it overnight to dry and came back the next day to nail down my final card design. I die cut the panel with the largest rectangle in the 4-bar card die set.

I pulled out the A Latte Love sentiments and heat embossed them on a vellum tag I had die cut. I added some twine and tied it with a bow. I used the largest lots of dots stencil on a brown card base and then popped up my coffee bean stenciled panel with foam tape. Last, I strategically added glue to the tag so it wouldn’t show through the vellum and added it as well.

Lots of texture, dimension and shine. I love how this turned out! I’ll be linking it up to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Spring-Summer Hop HERE. There’s still time to play along if you haven’t yet.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Clearly Besotted – CLC Spring-Summer Hop

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I’m sharing a really fun card from a new-to-me company, Clearly Besotted. Their artwork is beyond adorable and I’ve been admiring it for a bit. Then with their last release came this adorable set called Spilling Tea and I didn’t even hesitate to order it the second it was available! I love it!

Along with my stamps, I snagged this fun stencil called Stamp On It. It’s got the same postage stamp looking squares and rectangles in 3 different ways on the same stencil. I thought it was absolutely genius!

To make this fun card I started by stamping and coloring my images. Then I used my scan-n-cut to cut them out. I inked a column of squares from my new stencil on the right side of a 3.75×5.25 inch panel. Then, using my images as a guide I stamped my sentiment and then adhered the images with foam squares. I wrapped some twine around the left side and added foam tape to the back of this panel. I used my new diagonal stripe stencil from Trinity Stamps on the right edge of a white card base and then adhered my panel to it.

I really just want to squish these little critters. They’re beyond adorable and extra fun with their cups of tea!

I’m linking this fun card up to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop HERE. Don’t forget to play along too! There are so many fun prizes to be won from over 70 amazing companies!

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

Trinity Stamps – Rainbow Slider

Hey there! I’m up on the Trinity Stamps blog today with this fabulous monster rainbow slider card. I love interactive cards. This one popped in my head and I just had to create it immediately. It’s so happy and fun!

I started this fun card by using the negative of the clouds from the new Layered Lakeside Mountain Stencil to mask white I inked the panel with tumbled glass distress oxide ink. Then I die cut my slider mechanism from it. I cut another A2 size panel and inked the center with the same blue ink. This will be the inside of the slider. The card that attaches to the sliding mechanism was also inked with the same blue so it all goes together.

I moved on to my images at this point. I stamped and colored two monsters from the Monster Love stamp set along with one heart. I colored it all with copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used the rainbow set to die cut a rainbow and a bundle of clouds. I used copics to color the rainbow pieces and adhered it all together.

With all of our pieces ready to go, I moved on to assembly. I adhered the panel which is the pull-tab for your slider to the back of the front panel and then lined it with foam tape. This was adhered to the backing panel we just inked the center of. With all of that put together I could add my images exactly where I wanted them. I used liquid glue for all of these, being careful not to glue parts that should overhang when the card is slid open. I snipped the feet of the monster hanging upside down so he could be holding onto the rainbow. I absolutely love this little detail.

I used my MISTI to stack a couple of sentiments from A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything. I left the back blank for a personal message. Lastly, I added some fun rainbow ribbon through the pull tab and tied it with a bow with some black and white baker’s twine.

I hope you enjoyed today’s fun, interactive card and found some inspiration to make something beautiful.

Also, I don’t want to forget to mention that tomorrow is a Round 2 Spring Release Instagram Hop for Trinity Stamps. Be sure to head over and check out the amazing inspiration the other half of the team has to share with you. Comment for awesome prizes to be won as well!
