Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Trinity Stamps Mug Cards

Hello everyone! I’m over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog today sharing these fun Coffee Mug cards featuring Trinity Stamps new release that went live last Friday!

I’m really excited about how well these cards turned out and can’t wait to show you! The die is the Coffee Mug Card set from Trinity Stamps. It can be used as a shaped card, gift card holder or on the front of a regular card too! I’m going to share 2 versions today and pair them with some of the amazing word art stamps just released last Friday – Awesome Human and Happy Thoughts.

For the first card, I kept it simple and stamped the image on a white mug and colored it with my copic markers.

Then I die cut the little coffee add on, colored it with copics and glued it to the top so my cup looks full. Finally, I moved to the inside of the mug and stamped a sentiment from the new Love and Stuff Sentiments set. It fit just too perfectly, I couldn’t resist.

Next, I die cut the gift card holder from the mug die set and glued it to the other side. This also helps cover the marker bleed-through, like a two-for-one bonus.

For the second card, I stamped my sentiment on the mug shape, colored it with my copics and added the coffee piece to the top like the first one.

I created a dark blue card base and got my Coffee Bean Stencil out to add some interest to the background. I used my blending buddy brushes with white pigment ink which ended up looking light blue and I LOVE IT! And a tan color for the second layer. Then I glued my mug a little angled and trimmed anything hanging off the sides.

I’m in love with all of these new word art style stamps Trinity Stamps has come out with. Bonus – They all fit on the coffee mug too! I think I’ll be making sets of these for some fun RACKs (Random Acts of Crafty Kindness).

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
