Birch Press Design – Design Team Addition

I’m beyond excited to finally announce that I am joining the design team for Birch Press Design! This is an incredible opportunity and I’m so grateful for it. To celebrate I’ve made a simple card featuring a couple of their wonderful products.

To make this beautiful card, I started with the mini dahlia frame. I die cut the layers from three shades of pink cardstock and one white. I layered the pieces together and adhered them with liquid glue. Then I trimmed the dahlia out of the white one and glued the frame on top.

Next I took a 4×5.25 inch piece of white cardstock and blended some peach and pink inks on it, fading out toward the edge. I adhered the dahlia frame and popped this panel up with foam tape on a 4.25×5.5 inch orange panel.

Next I pulled out the Lovely Butterflies stamps, inked one up, colored it with my copics and die cut it out. I glued this to the dahlia just in the center and folded the wings up a little so it looks like it’s just sitting there. Then I took a sentiment from the set and stamped in in black on the lower right inside the frame.

I adhered the whole panel to a white card base and finished this beautiful card off with some Wink of Stella glitter brush pen on the butterfly for just a bit of shimmer.
