After yesterday’s card I just couldn’t put that sweet penguin away! I decided that we all needed a rainbow of penguins to brighten the day. So, I stamped him out seven more times and colored them in fun rainbow colors!
In case you missed yesterday’s card, this cute penguin came from Jane’s Doodles Hot Cocoa set.

Aren’t they just adorable?!? Seriously, how can you not smile at this. It’s so fun!
After using the scan-n-cut to cut them all out I pulled out the Pink & Main slimline plaid die and cut it from white cardstock. For the panel behind the plaid, I blended spun sugar and picked raspberry distress oxide inks and splattered it with water. Then I flicked some picked raspberry splatters on it as well.

Using liquid glue I adhered the plaid to the inked panel and then carefully inserted my penguins into the plaid lines, adhering them with liquid glue as well. It just works best with the distress oxide ink.

For my sentiment I stamped “sending warm hugs” from the same Hot Cocoa set and cut it apart. I used Trinity Stamps Marshmallow Alphabet Dies to cut “warm” from white cardstock 4 times and adhered the layers together. I popped “sending” and “hugs” up with foam strips and used liquid glue to adhere the die cut letters.
I can’t get enough of these cute penguins and just love how this happy card turned out.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
