Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s time for tea over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers. Today we’re playing with die cuts to create a sweet critter hugger thank you card featuring Lawn Fawn goodies that I’ve been neglecting.
Let’s be real…I need a bundle of thank you cards these days and I also finally ordered the spring critter hugger dies which made me want to play with these cuties in the meantime. Lol! I’m a total problem.

I simply die cut the pieces to make a squirrel critter hugger and colored the edges with E30 copic markers to give it a little depth. I used liquid glue to adhere the pieces and set it aside to dry while I created my background.

For the background, I die cut the landscape polka heart backdrop from white cardstock. I used a blending brush and guava ink to ink up the edges and then splattered some watered down guava ink all over the panel. I layered it over a piece of teal paper from my stash with liquid glue and adhered it to a white card base.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Thanks a Latte and cut it into a strip. I popped it up with a foam strip and adhered my squirrel in place too.
For finishing touches I added glossy accents to the squirrel’s nose and unicorn Stickles to the cheeks and coffee mug. Super fast to put together and absolutely adorable too!
