Hi there everyone! I’m so glad you’re here today. I have another card featuring a couple of products using the Hexi-Gems collection. When I was playing with my first round of stitching these pieces, I flipped and flopped them a few different directions before adhering them together in the intended shape. That led to me wanting to try my card today.

This time I cut the main piece from white cardstock and used a variegated sherbet cotton DMC floss. I pulled colors from the floss again for the layers on the edging. Then I trimmed the edges off that would normally adhere together.

Next, I used the Glimmer Hexi-Gem plate to foil a pink background shape. I trimmed it out with my paper trimmer, leaving a white border. Then I inked up a background panel with twisted citron and mowed lawn distress oxide ink. I spritzed it with water and blotted it dry. I popped the foiled panel up with foam tape and also added foam squares to the back of my stitched panels so they would lay flat.

After that was all adhered down, I added florals from the Umbrella Bloom die set. Last, I chose a sentiment from the Thanks Enclosed Sentiments die set with liquid glue.
I love how different this card is and how much texture and interest there is everywhere. It turned out so pretty.
