Well friends, you’ve gotten to see all of the amazing upcoming products from Newton’s Nook for the September release but we’re not done sharing inspiration. Today I have another card featuring Newton’s Candy Corn. He’s just so cute I had to color him multiple times.

After stamping and coloring Newton’s Candy Corn, I used the coordinating die to cut him out and went digging in to new paper pad for background inspiration. I landed on this pattern of trick or treat bags and thought everything is just fitting together perfectly.

So I cut that with the largest Frames & Flags die, then cut an oval from orange cardstock to focus my Newton image on. I ink blended the orange cardstock with spiced marmalade distress oxide ink and also added pumice stone distress oxide ink to my card base. I spritzed them both with water and also flicked black paint on my card base.

Whenever I hot foil sentiments, I try to do multiple because they are fabulous to just have on hand, ready to grab. I happened to have this perfect match ready to go in my stash so I added foam tape and squares to everything and started layering them up.
For finishing touches I added glossy accents to Newton’s nose and the face on his pumpkin bucket.
I hope you enjoyed release reveals and are chomping at the bit to add more goodies to your Halloween cardmaking stash! Release is available tomorrow!
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
I love the cute Halloween critter, foiling, and the fun paper pad. Super CUTE!
