Hello there. Welcome to a whole new week full of new adventures! Today Alice and the White Rabbit from Miss Ink Stamps are stopping by for a bit of nonsense and my very first attempt at copic coloring a scene.

The creation of this card is really simple, it’s just the length of time it takes to color a scene like this that I underestimated. Some of those copic artists out there make it look so simple but it’s really not. I need much more practice and maybe it’s time for a class or two as well.

I started by stamping and coloring my images from the Alice set from Miss Ink Stamps. Then used the scan-n-cut to cut them out. Next, I stamped the Forest Path image and the sentiment from Alice on a 3.75×5.5 panel and colored it with my copics. After the coloring was finish, I adhered a couple of strips of black cardstock to the panel and popped it up on a white card base with foam tape. The images were them popped up with foam tape as well.

I can just picture Alice and the White Rabbit standing on their path to who-knows-where and she’s decided to share with him some fabulously random thought. I love this book and playing with these stamps has inspired me to pull it out and read it again.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
