Mama Elephant – Little Agenda Mini Scene

Welcome, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! Today I have a really fun card to share featuring Mama Elephant goodies, new and old. I love how well these products play together over time. It makes it so fun to shop your stash and use things that you may have forgotten about.

I picked up a few sets from the most recent Mama Elephant release and had so much fun creating this little scene card using the Little Agenda House stamps and dies. I shopped through my stash of Little Agenda critters and decided on this sweet kitty purely because the recipient of this card is very much a cat person.

Once I had my images die cut, I created a circle using the Mama Elephant Combo Circle dies. These are so fun and innovative. I pulled from the colors of the house for the scallops and inked a little sunshiny shadow behind my images. The images are adhered with a combo of liquid glue and foam squares. Then I stamped and heat embossed sentiments from the Easy Sentiments set and cut them out using the coordinating die. I chose the one I wanted and added it to the circle with a foam strip.

For added interest in the background I cut the Grid Window background panel and adhered it to a white card base. Then I popped the scallop circle up with foam tape and added a few red clay hearts. Last, I added some glossy accents to the door knob, flowers and heart on the envelope.

I just adore this sweet card and had to much fun creating it.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Boba Shaker Card and Tag Combo featuring Mama Elephant

Happy Tuesday everyone! Get ready for your last Tuesday Tea on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers today. Life has gotten a bit too busy and I’m having to step down from a few teams that I design for. Today is my final post – for now – on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers team.

I decided to pull out a fun Mama Elephant set, make some boba shakers and color some adorable critters!

I had a crafty zoom session with some friends a bit ago and decided it would be fun to stamp and color these cuties from the Mama Elephant Boba Tea stamp set. I’m not great a staying on task while socializing so I just focused on coloring while we were chatting and then turned them into this card and tag later on. It was so fun and a great way to connect with crafty friends I’ve met on the internet that live super far away.

The coordinating Boba Tea die set can turn the two cups without critters into shakers if you want. I thought it would be fun so I did that with both and decided instead of having two shakers on my card, I would make a card and coordinating tag.

So, after those were ready to go, I used the Two Scallop Frames dies to create a focal point for my card and the tag as well. I made one landscape and the other portrait to change them up a bit as well.

I stenciled a gray panel with the Heffy Doodle Scribble on my Heart stencil and gray ink for a little texture in the background. This panel measures 3.75×5 inches and is popped up on a white card base. Then the scallop frame is popped up with foam tape on that. The boba cups are all added with liquid glue while the bunny is added with a combo of liquid glue and foam squares to keep it flat.

Last, I stamped and die cut a sentiment using the Easy Sentiments stamps and coordinating die. I popped this up below the frame with a foam strip.

For my tag, I chose a sentiment from Boba Tea and stamped it in the upper left corner so my pup and his shaker cup could be positioned more toward the right for balance. I threaded some twine through the hole and my tag is all set to go too.

I hope you enjoyed today’s projects. My daughter and I love to splurge on boba at a food truck close to our house so that’s what these remind me of. It’s always fun to mix and match different flavors when we go.

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Hi Cutie

Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s time for tea over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today! I finally took a moment to ink up the adorable My Favorite Person stamp set from the last Mama Elephant release and it did not disappoint! SOOOOO CUTE!

I colored my critters first and then went in to the mugs and hearts with a bit of a muted rainbow palette just for something different. Then I chose a variety of the small sentiments in the set and heat embossed each heart with a different one.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed one of the regular strip sentiment on black cardstock and die cut it with a sentiment strip from my stash.

When it came to arranging my images, I kind of wanted the sentiments to read left and down to the right…so that’s what I did. I added that cute bear to the sentiment strip with a little liquid glue on his feet and popped them up with foam squares. Then I added the stack of mugs to the center and finished things off with the sweet fox and mouse on the right.

I added some teal strips to the top and bottom of my yellow dotted background and popped them up on a white card base. Then to finish things off and tie in the white card base I added some white clay hearts from the Twiddler’s Nook Sweethearts embellishment mix.

Mama Elephant – Set of 4 Little Agenda Shaker Cards

Hello everyone. I hope your week is chugging along nicely. We have had some wild weather the last few days but it’s so sunny and nice today, it’s hard to believe the hail and downpours we had just yesterday.

Today I wanted to pop in and share a set of 4 cards I created using the most recent Mama Elephant release paired with shaker bits from the Twiddler’s Nook shop.

I couldn’t resist this adorable Little Line Agenda set. It was a freebie last year that I missed out on and was ecstatic when they brought it out for regular purchase. These cuties are so fun and these arrangements are great for so many occasions!

I stamped each of the images on Bristol Smooth cardstock with VersaFine ink and colored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. This is not my go-to coloring medium but sometimes a change is just so refreshing. I saw down and colored them all and then assembled them in the same layout for a great set to use or give as a gift.

I chose a textured cardstock from my stash for the background of each card, cut to 3.75×5 inches for that extra wide white edge. Then I used the new Two Scallop Frames die set to create the shaker mechanisms.

For sentiments on each card, I used the Easy Sentiments stamps and coordinating die. I absolutely love this set and being able to have multiple sentiments at a time is fantastic! I have pre-mades ready to go in white, kraft and black cardstock.

The shaker filler for each of these cards come from the Twiddler’s Nook shop. The kitties at the beginning have pink primrose confetti bits, the bunnies have fresh as a daisy clay bits, the puppies have a combo of love letters and sweethearts clay bits and the last card with the packages has wishing on rainbow stars confetti.

Aren’t these all just the sweetest!?! They have a really clean and simple design but I feel like the shaker adds so much and makes them so fun!

Mama Elephant – Chickie Gift Tag

Hey everyone! I’ve started making tags for Easter baskets this weekend and wanted to pop in to share one that I had too much fun creating!

For this tag, I cut all the pieces for the Chickie Favor Bag Accessory from cardstock and adhered the pieces together with liquid glue. Then I cut a second “body” piece from white cardstock and adhered it to the back.

Next, I pulled out the Little Chickie Agenda stamps and chose a few to decorate my big chickie with. I stamped them out and colored them with copic markers before using the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I adhered them with liquid glue and kept finishing touches simple with white gel pen highlights to all of the images.

Last, I added some baker’s twine to the back with washi tape so it could be removed later on. There is lots of space to write the recipient’s name plus a message or maybe stamp a sentiment too.

Miss Ink Stamps – How’s It Goating?

Happy Thursday friends!!! I’m so happy you’re here today. I have a very punny and adorable Miss Ink Stamps card to share with you today. I hope you like it!

For today’s card, I am using one of the Punny Farm Goats from Miss Ink Stamps. I started by stamping and coloring him and his envelope with my copic markers. I used the scan-n-cut to cut the images out today. Then I used my craft knife to cut his mouth open so I could slide the envelope inside. I used a little liquid glue and washi tape on the back side to hold it in place.

My background hearts are distress oxide ink blended on an A2 panel with abandoned coral, tattered rose and dried apricot. They are spritzed with water and flicked with gold watercolor. Then I actually die cut the A2 panel with the Mama Elephant Heart Grid Cover die. I used the frame on a card I’ll share very soon but I couldn’t just toss the leftover hearts. They were too pretty! I also die cut the Mama Elephant Big Scripty Hello from white cardstock 3 times and gold glitter once. I adhered the white ones with liquid glue and then added the gold the same way but offset a little to the right.

To assemble my card, I cut a light teal piece of textured cardstock to 4×5.25 inches and popped it up on a white card base. Then I popped the hearts up with foam squares and glued the hello directly to those with liquid glue. I added the goat with foam squares so he layed nice against the layered die cut sentiment. Last, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on vellum and cut it out with a Pink & Main Large Sentiment Strip before carefully hiding adhesive behind the letters to adhere it down.

For finishing touches, I added black glaze pen to the goat’s eyes and white gel pen highlights to him too. Then I finished things off with a little dab of unicorn Stickles to the heart on the envelope.

Voila! This adorable card is complete and ready to make someone smile!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Coffee Date!

Hey friends! I’m over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today having a coffee date with my friend Beata June! Here’s a peek at my card but you’ll have to head to the Coffee Lovers blog to see hers!

For our coffee date we chose a layout and a stamp set to use but everything else was up in the air! Using the Mama Elephant Hot Cocoa stamp set and a slimline – 3 window design idea, this is what I came up with. I colored the images with my copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I cut the hexatag from glitter cardstock and layered the snowflake version over the top in light blue. Then I tied twine bows at the top for a little texture.

On my background panel I ink blended distress oxide ink in spun sugar and festive berries on a white panel. I spritzed it with water and flicked pearl watercolor all over. Once it was dry, I die cut and adhered a slimline plaid panel from Pink & Main.

To assemble my card, I adhered the tags to the front panel with liquid glue and popped the images up with foam squares. Then I pulled out the Easy Christmas Messages set out, stamped and die cut one, then popped it up with a foam strip.

For finishing touches on this card, I added glossy accents to various things like noses and beaks, peppermint sticks and tea tags. Then I came in with unicorn Stickles on hats and whipped cream for some extra sparkle.

Isn’t this just the sweetest!?! I hope you’re all ready for Christmas tomorrow. I totally am and I’m almost more excited than the kids! So silly but I love it all!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Mama Elephant | Little Agenda Penguin Snowflake Tags

Well, hello again! I’m back today with some mini caffeinated inspiration for the Coffee Lovers hop! This time I’ve made a set of Christmas tags featuring some fun Mama Elephant products. I’m slightly obsessed with how fun they turned out and will probably be making lots more before the holiday season is over!

This is such a simple layout that I knew what I wanted to started with the die cutting first this time. I cut the main tag shape from white cardstock 6 times and white glitter cardstock 3 times. Then I added the snowflake shape to the glitter tags and cut that out of the center.

Next, I took 3 of the white tags and inked them up with Lawn Fawn peacock ink in the center. Then I flicked watered down cracked pistachio distress ink on the tags. Once they were dry, I used liquid glue to adhere the snowflake layer over the tops. Next, I glued the plain white tags to the back so they were sturdy and had a clean side to write on.

Then I chose 3 penguins from the Little Agenda Penguin stamp set and colored them with my copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and popped them in the center of each snowflake with foam squares. Next, I threaded black gingham ribbon through the tag hole and tied it with twine.

For finishing touches I added a little glossy accents to each penguin on parts like beaks and feet, berries and bows. These came together so quickly and are seriously adorable!

Mama Elephant – Designer Series Gift Card Pocket

Hey crafty friends! I am super excited to have one more post as part of my guest designer gig with Mama Elephant! Today I’m featured with some of the other amazing guest designers over on the Mama Elephant blog!

I created a gift card pocket featuring the Little Girl Gnome Agenda cuties, Easy XMas Greetings and Gift Card Pocket dies.

I started by cutting the card shape and the stitching holes. Then I sat for a while an stitched up a fun pattern. Next, I came back and stamped some of the cute gnomes. I colored them with my copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next, I cut the main card holder shape from white cardstock and inked up a red shadow behind the area I wanted to add my gnomes. I assembled the card holder and popped the gnomes up with foam squares.

I cut an extra card shape from kraft cardstock so I could write a message when I was ready to use this project. I stamped and heat embossed Easy XMas Greetings and cut them out. I chose one from the trio and popped it up with a foam strip.

Flipping the card holder back over, I adhered the stitched panel with scrappy tape and popped my additional gnomes up with foam squares. I adhered the hole reinforcer on both sides and threaded some ribbon from my stash through the hole.

For finishing touches I added glossy accents and unicorn stickles to all of the gnomes on both sides. I love the added shine and bling that these give!

I’m so excited about this cute project! I can’t wait to use it at Christmas and hopefully make more before then!

Mama Elephant – Stampede Hop

Welcome back to Day 2 of our Stampede Celebration! Today we are celebrating with the wonderful and inspirational winners from our Guest Design Call! We were totally blown away with all their projects and we are so very happy they can share their creativity again with us today! Not everyone has a blog so remember to also check our Instagram also!

For my card today, I stamped and colored a variety of the sweet Little Girl Gnome Agenda images with my copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Then I stamped a couple of the new Easy Christmas Greetings and cut those out as well.

Next, I switched to die cutting the background from the Slim Woodland die. I cut it first from white cardstock and then I inked up a strip of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Ink in blueprint sketch, faded jeans and chipped sapphire. I spritzed it with a distress sprayer and cut the sky portion again.

Then I took the white background panel and colored it in with my copic markers, giving the snow a little glow and the trees some definition too. After creating a slimline card base from kraft cardstock I adhered the colored panel with liquid adhesive and then I paper pieces the night sky pieces in place.

To finish off my card, I added foam squares to the images and sentiments and popped them in place. I added some glossy accents details to all of the gnomes and also glued a scattering of red clay hearts around the design.
