We’re back for day 2 of release reveals on the Newton’s Nook September Release! More fall fun to share with you today. Let’s take a look.

Autumn Postage Sampler stamps and dies and Halloween Postage stamps and dies

Today I have a card featuring each stamp set to share with you. One using the postage vibe and one showing how you don’t have to use them that way at all!

My first card features the Halloween Postage Sampler stamps and the coordinating Postage Stamp Layout die together.

For this card, I inked up the postage stamp centers with distress oxide inks and then stamped images from Halloween Postage Sampler on each one. I used a little washi tape on the back of each to hold the center into the frame and then liquid glue to adhere them together how I wanted. After that was dry, I added foam tape and set them aside.

I cut a gray panel with the largest Framework die and inked it with the Ghosts stencil using white pigment ink. I inked up the edge of my card base with that tried and true direct to paper technique using orange ink. Then I popped gray panel up with foam tape and added the stamps on that. I thought things were a little lacking so I went back and added ghosts, the postmark and a little spider on my baker’s twine.

To finish things off I added some stardust Stickles to the ghosts and spider.

Now, for my Autumn Postage Sampler card, I chose an assortment of my favorite images to stamp, color and die cut. Then I trimmed a kraft panel down to 3.75×5 inches and ink blended it from the top fading out. I spritzed it with water and blotted it dry before stamping sentiments from the stamp set across the panel.

Once that was done, I added my images with foam squares and popped the whole panel up on a white card base with foam tape. For finishing touches on this card I added stardust Stickles and glossy accents on the images with a scattering of enamel dots across the design.

Hi friends! I’m so excited to bring you sneak peek reveals of the Newton’s Nook September release! It’s full of all things fall and Halloween so you know my heart is full and ready to share! Let’s look at today’s reveals.

Card Layout 5 Die, Autumn Coffees stamps and dies, and Spooky Coffees stamps and dies

I have two cards to share with you today so let’s not waste any time!

First up, I have a card featuring Autumn Coffees, paired with a few older dies and stencil.

I chose a few adorable images from Autumn Coffees to color and die cut out. Then I cut the sentiment from Coffee Frames dies three times from white cardstock and glue them together. Next, I pulled out the Circle Frames dies and cut the largest from blue cardstock and the next one down from cream. I ink blended the center of the cream panel with brown ink and splattered it with water. Then I adhered the sentiment with liquid glue and mugs with foam squares.

Next I ink blended a kraft panel with the Basketweave stencil, going around the edges with more ink after removing the stencil for a little depth. I glued that to a card base and popped my circle panels up on that with foam tape.

I finished things off with glossy accents on the mugs and stardust Stickles on the whipped cream and steam.

Now let’s get spooky with a fun shaker card! I started by stamping and coloring a handful of mugs and then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. Then I ink blended the Jack-o-Lantern stencil set on pink cardstock, going around the edge with more pink for depth and interest at the end.

Next I cut the inverted scallop rectangle from Frames & Flags from black cardstock and lined the back with vellum. I added foam tape and sealed in some shaker bits on my stenciled panel.

Next I popped some mugs up on the shaker panel with foam squares. Then I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on the smallest Framework die and added a mug to one end. This is popped up on the card front with foam squares as well.

I finished everything off with glossy accents on different bits of the mugs.

Happy Release Day for Newton’s Nook! We’re having a fun Instagram Hop that I hope you’ll join in on. It’s extra packed this month with guest designers along side the design team!

For the hop I decided to create a gift tag using two of the stamp sets and the new paper pad. Aren’t they too fun together!?! I love it!

I simple cut the bookmark tag from patterned paper, then chose another pattern and cut it out with the same die based on where I wanted it to fit on my tag. Then I glued them together and cut a white paw from the die in the same bookmark set. I stamped my sentiment and went over the stitching areas with a black pen to make it more legible.

I stamped and colored my images from Cat Party and Dog Party, using the coordinating dies to cut everything out. Then I popped everything up on the tag with foam squares and threaded some ribbon through the hole.

For finishing touches I came in with stardust Stickles and glossy accents on parts of each image.

Birthday Postage Sampler stamps and dies

This is a really fun staple set to have in your stash whether you like to create with the postage stamps or not. These images are fun and perfect for celebration themed crafting. I have two cards to share with you today.

For this card, I stamped and colored my images, die cutting them before adding them to the Postage Stamp layout die. I also ink blended and stenciled the inserts of each stamp before decorating them with the colored images and postage details. I finished the design off with the Happy Birthday sentiment die being cut from the same paper as my background to tie it all together.

I wasn’t done playing with these birthday postage stamps or the new card layout dies so I have one more card for you today.

It’s bright and fun and ready to party! For this card, I cut the card layout die from white cardstock and used distress oxide sprays to color the inserts. I used liquid glue to adhere the frame and inserts to a card base.

Then I added my fun postage stamps and die cut sentiment directly to that. In the end I liked the idea of the postage stamps stopping at the layout frame instead of the card edge so I used a craft knife to carefully cut them away and it worked pretty well!

To finish things off I added some glossy accents and stardust Stickles to the stamp images. It goes well with the glitter cardstock sentiment!

Yesterday we brought you some partying kitties to play with. Well, the puppies wouldn’t have it if we didn’t include them! So, let’s get a look at those yappers woofin’ it up!

Dog Birthday Party stamps and dies

Yup, you guessed it…I’m smitten with these too! Although I went a little quicker and simpler today with a fun layout idea that only requires one image and I love it; although it was really hard to pick.

I cut one of the patterned papers from the new pad with the largest Frames & Flags die, angled it on the card front and popped it up with foam tape! To be fair, that happened after I inked up the card front and splattered it because you know I love that sort of thing.

Then I cut a circle from the Circle Frames dies and inked it up a little before popping my partying puppy up with a foam square. I added the card to my Misti so I could stamp the sentiment perfectly without stressing. Last, I finished it off with lots of sparkly Stickles on the party hat and cake frosting.

Alright then, let’s keep this celebration going! Today we have a new stamp and die set to reveal and it’s meow-tiful!

Cat Birthday Party stamps and dies

This is another set with that really fun, smaller size Newton images doing all sorts of fun birthday and partying things! Today I paired them with the sweet new paper pad and the other card layout die. They’re so fun together!

I cut the whole Card Layout 4 die from some pink cardstock in my stash and then cut pieces from the paper pad to fit the inserts. I was being stingy with my paper pad to do it this way, you could cut the whole thing from each one to mix and match, creating 3 card backgrounds too!

Once that part was done, I chose four kitties to fit across that line on the panel, stamped and colored them to coordinate with the paper pad. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Birthday Roundabout on a Banner Trio die and popped everything up with foam squares.

Like always, a little finishing touches here and there with Stickles and glossy accents never hurt anybody.

Hello friends! I’m excited that we’re back for another full week of release reveals for Newton’s Nook with an Instagram Hop and release available for purchase on Friday! Let’s see what we have today, shall we?

Birthday Time paper pad, Happy Birthday dies, Card Layout 3 die, Card Layout 4 die

I’m using all of these goodies sprinkled throughout the release but today I have a fun card to share with you using the Card Layout 3 die and some older but equally as fun products!

For this card I cut the layout die from white cardstock and went to town on the frame and inserts with distress oxide inks and sprays, separately so that I could get different browns for each part.

After lots of sprinkling and spraying, I let the pieces dry and then glued them to a white card front. Then I finished things off with the Hug in a Mug sentiment cut 3 times and glued together for dimension and a few Silhouette Coffee Mugs popped up with foam squares.

I couldn’t resist a little stardust Stickles on the mug heart to sparkle things up a bit but I wanted to make sure you could really see the awesome design of the background die.

Welcome back everyone! Super excited to share my card for the Newton’s Nook June Release Day Instagram Hop on here, but remember to head to IG to comment and hop along for chances to win!

I’m still feeling my stencil era so I pulled out a few oldies but goodies to pair with Newton’s Sand Dollar on today’s card. I used the Retro Sun & Palms, paired with the Waves & Splashes stencils to create my background. Then I cut a curvy sand bank using the Land Borders dies, splattering the kraft cardstock with brown and white paint for the sandy look.

I stamped and colored all of the images from Newton’s Sand Dollar and used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. With all the pieces ready, I used liquid glue to adhere them all together. Then I tore the right side of my panel for some awesome texture and added foam tape to the back of the panel.

Before popping it up on my card base, I drug my teal ink pad across the edge for texture and color at the same time.

Then I added my scene panel and popped it up a heat embossed sentiment banner using one of the banners in the A7 Frames die set. I finished things off with glossy accents on all of the images.

Hey friends! Welcome to release reveals for the Newton’s Nook June Mini Seaside Release! I’m smitten with the new stamp set and in love with the color palette of the new paper pad! I want to use it everywhere! Let’s take a look!

Seaside Paper Pad and Newton’s Sand Dollar stamps and dies

I have 2 cards to share with you today using both of these new products. Then I’ll be back tomorrow with another card and a link to the Instagram hop celebrating release day!

I used a few pieces of the new paper pad with the A2 Card Layout die. I cut 2 white frames first and then cut the patterned paper, keeping the inserts to paper piece. One fun thing about these is that I cut the center from the same piece of paper, just used one side on each card.

For this first card, I stamped and colored Newton’s Sand Dollar and used the coordinating die to cut him out. Then I grabbed a circle from the Circle Frames dies for my sentiment. On the card front, I went direct-to-paper with my light brown ink pad for color and texture with no bulk.

With all of that done, I just grabbed my glue and foam squares and started assembling it all together. I finished things off with a clay heart on the sentiment and some glossy accents and stardust stickles on the image.

For this card, I repeated the process, using light teal ink on the card front because the browns didn’t quite match enough for my liking. Then I went and grabbed the Hello die in the Filigree Oval Frame dies for my sentiment and just adorned it with a seashell from the stamp set.

It’s simple but so pretty and perfect for any beach lover! Goodness knows I have enough of those in my life. Then for finishing touches I just added a little stardust stickles on the seashell for sparkle.

Hey friends! I’m back on the Newton’s Nook blog today with a sweet little card featuring Beekeeper Newton and he’s got honey to share! Also, over on Instagram today I’ve got a coloring reel to share if you’re feeling like zoning out for a few minutes.

After stamping and coloring all of my images, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. I snagged the smallest die from the Basic Frames die set to stamp and heat emboss my sentiment on.

My background was premade from a batch I created when the A2 Card Layout 2 die was released. I made 4 backgrounds then and only used 2 so I still had 2 waiting for the proper inspiration to hit. Today was just such a day.

This background uses the A2 Card Layout 2 die for the white frame and the Natural Basics paper pad for the stitched inserts. The whole thing is popped up with foam tape on a white card base.

I used liquid glue to adhere bits together like the honey jars and the honey pot to the apiary. Then added foam squares to the back of everything and popped it all in place.

For finishing touches I added glossy accents to the jars, Newton’s nose, the apiary and honey pot. Then I added stardust Stickles to the bee’s wings for some sparkle too.
