Miss Ink Stamps – Magical Release Day

Happy Saturday friends and happy release day for Miss Ink Stamps! Be sure to head to the store to check out all the amazing magical goodies that are available for purchase now! Today I have a teeny bit of inspiration featuring Misery Loves Company stamps and dies, along with some stenciling too!

I stamped and colored my images first with copic markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and used a little liquid glue to adhere them together before adding foam squares to the back.

Then I took an A2 panel of white cardstock and the Ins & Outs Marquis and started inking. First, I placed the window mask down and inked blue around it. Then I layered the new starburst stencil over that and inked it artichoke green. I removed those stencils and added the marquis frame layer next and inked it with a deep dark blue. Then I used the green ink left on my brush to add a shadow where I wanted the images to go.

Using the images as a guide, I placed my sentiment and inked it up. Then I removed the release paper and adhered the images in place. For finishing touches, I added white gel pen highlights on the images and black glaze pen to their eyes.

Then, I opened up the card and added the other half of my sentiment and another image from the Misery Loves Company set.
